About Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari

Ashutosh Tiwari is Chairman & Managing Director at Institute of Advanced Materials & VBRI Group, Secretary General of the International Association of Advanced Materials and Editor-in-Chief of Advanced Materials Letters. Prof. Tiwari also has several honorary professor titles since 2009. Dr. Tiwari has been actively involved in the translational research for building state-of-the-art technological systems to handle key challenges in medical, security, energy supply and environmental issues realized by the integration of artificial intelligence and smart strategies.

With a plethora of awards and recognitions, Dr. Tiwari's career is an inspiration to many.

A recipient to many prestigious awards such as ‘The Nano Award‘, ‘Advanced Materials Medal‘, and ‘Advanced Material Medal‘, and ‘Innovation in Materials Science Award‘, Prof. Tiwari is widely recognized for his contributions to smart materials and medical nanotechnology. He has also been the recipient to many significant fellowship awards like ‘Marie Curie, The European Commission‘, ‘JSPS Regular and bridge fellow, Japan‘, ‘NIMS postdoctoral fellow, Japan‘, ‘SI, Sweden‘ and from INSA, CSIR, and DST, India.

Right after completing his doctorate degree from Allahabad University, Prof. Tiwari joined the National Physical Laboratory, India, as a young scientist. Later on, he moved to the University of Wisconsin for his postdoctoral research.

Dr. Tiwari strongly believes in the idea of companies coming together and creating alliances to build businesses through cooperation, sharing of the working methods, infrastructures, and manpower to ensure a high quality of services for the society.

Dr. Tiwari has published around 200 articles and has edited/ authored around 50 books on the advanced materials and nanotechnology. He is the Guest Editor of the Special issue 2D Materials in Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Elsevier; Series Editor of the Advanced Materials and Advanced Nanomaterials. He acts as an Executive Chair of “Knowledge Experience at Sea”, organizes in Europe, Asia, and the USA with annual participation of over 2000+ delegates from 100+ countries.
Prof. Tiwari serves as a scientific evaluator, member of experts in several panels and committees to various governmental and non-governmental agencies; member of the Ph.D. committee, and has been invited for 100+ plenary, keynote and invited lectures in the international conferences. Currently, Dr. Tiwari is involved mainly on the technological developments of the range of nanotechnology-enabled new tools, technological breakthroughs, key process, new products designed to transform the energy, IT automation, security, and mass medicine.
